About Black Forest is a website that was created to provide people with a more detailed resource of the Black Forest in English. As I arrived to the Black Forest in 2019, and started to do research about the area, I realized that there were a lot of general articles regarding the Black Forest. However, there was nothing terribly specific or detailed. That’s why I figured it would be helpful to create a resource for future tourists who are interested in just more than the highlights of the region, and are looking to travel deeper into this beautiful corner of Germany.

Natalie is an avid traveler who loves learning about cultures and meeting people from around the world. She is from the United States, and has lived Mexico, Spain, South Korea, and Finland. Currently though, she is living in the Black Forest region in Southwest Germany, and is having fun exploring the area.
